Ano Korakiana is one of Corfu's oldest villages. It is built on mountain slopes and is distinguished by narrow streets and stone houses. Sokraki is a semi-mountainous village built on the interior side of Mount Korakio between Ano Korakiana and Zygos.

Paleokastritsa is a village located 25 kilometers northwest of Corfu Town. Coves and sandy beaches, olive groves, lush hills and sea rocks, and dreamy coves combine to create a beautiful scenery that draws visitors. Paleokastritsa consists of six small bays and beaches. Lakones is a small but picturesque village located above Palaiokastritsa. Old stone houses from the 18th and 19th centuries are located above and on both sides of the village's main road, forming a charming, traditional scene.

Porto Timoni and Canal d 'amour

The Channel of Love also known as Canal d’amour is probably the most famous and most special beach on the island. It is situated between the villages Sidari and Peroulades, Agios Stefanos is a long sandy beach in the region of Avliotes, 6 km north west of Sidari. Porto Timoni is a unique beach, hidden and not very known, below Afionas village. Actuallly, there are two different beaches which are separated by a small strip of land. The small one is Limni and the big one is Porto Timoni.

On top of Pelekas hill is the Kaiser throne. This is the place where Kaiser Wilhem II wanted to visit and admire the countryside view.
The idyllic scenery Glyfada has all the usual tourist facilities including a good selection of water sports and a diving platform which teens will love messing around on, because of these and the beach side bars it tends to attract a younger crowd so can get quite loud in the day. It’s also popular in the evening with a bit of a beach party going on.

Meteora monasteries
